Honoring the best of social media
Five years Sawhorse Media asked me help design a logo and site for an audacious new awards ceremony for honoring excellence in Twitter use, happening at the Galapagos art space in Dumbo. In two weeks we came up with a design inspired by Yiying Lu's Internet-famous Fail Whale. Since then, the design has been refined, the awards ceremony has migrated to Manhattan, and the event now honors users across many social media platforms.

The campaign was successful in generating awareness about the book and was reported on by the daily Newspaper AM New York and NBC News.
